Flair launched in 1950: a visual celebration of food, fashion and art, promising “the best things, the first things, uniting its readers in an aristocracy of taste”.

According to The Guardian:  ‘Fleur was over 40 when she launched it, not that she admitted her age, from which she would subtract anything up to a decade according to whether youth or experience was more in style.’ Flair magazine continues to be a huge source of inspiration for editors and students who pick through its immaculately designed pages in the search of ‘new’ ideas.
